We are Dubai’s premier private business club situated in the heart of the financial district, looking for someone to join the team immediately as an Event Executive.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the growth of the existing portfolio of accounts to build new sources of revenue
- Regular monitoring and evaluation of efficiency of accounts performance
- To develop targets and sales plans (Account Development Plans) in working with key accounts for achievement of the revenue
- Negotiating sales contracts and designing packages
- Secure new business and achieve sales targets
- Regular monitoring and evaluation of the efficiency of accounts performance
- Set and attend appointments both at Club and off-site to secure commitments for Events and sponsorships.
- Obtain sales leads from members and non-members.
- Execute daily sales activities such as telephone sales, face-to-face contacts, Club site inspections and tours, mailings, etc.
- Provide weekly activity reports and monthly achieved targets reports, contracted revenue, and general market information.
- Active search and reports on definite converted revenue on a weekly basis
- Provide feedback to the Head of Events & Partnerships, on customers, reporting, and market conditions when requested
- Effectively manages cost distribution of Sales activities according to the agreed budget guidelines
- Curate and coordinate bespoke menus and spaces setup to cater to clients’ needs and expectations
- Deliver quintessential service to the clients from the time of inquiry, until after the execution and anticipate their needs, sharing key information with the F&B team to deliver an intuitive experience
- Anticipate and plan for different scenarios that may occur on the day of the event
- Create the very best impression and therefore sales opportunities for future events during client liaisons and during events, including possessing a strong working knowledge of the company to further these sales opportunities
- Plan and execute multiple events at once
- Be the go-to person for guests who require special attention and assist the host with introductions and networking where needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Luxury Hotel Sales
- Hospitality/Food and Beverage Background
- Knowledge of Dubai market (all segments) including the area of Abu Dhabi
- Ability to demonstrate strong selling and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English (Arabic or second language is a plus).
- Capability to organize an effective working environment.
- High level of self-management.
- Keen on self-development in private club sales area.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with figures and numbers
