Event Planner

 

Description:

The Event Planner is responsible for coordinating, booking, and executing all events at Cheeky Monkeys. The role involves planning, monitoring, and maximizing event-related sales, as well as effectively managing manpower allocations. The Event Planner works closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to ensure the successful execution of all events. Additionally, the role requires maintaining a comprehensive database to analyze trends and develop new strategies for events and in-store promotions.

 

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

 

  • Promote and sell birthday party packages, camps, and services.
  • Coordinate with team, vendors, and clients for smooth event execution.
  • Manage event setup, inventory, documentation, and follow-ups for client satisfaction.
  • Follow company procedures and complete tasks independently.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Adapt to changing work demands and guest needs.
  • Maintain professional appearance and personal hygiene.
  • Follow company policies, attendance, and ethical standards.
  • Handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Ensure workplace safety and follow emergency procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
  • Provide courteous and helpful service to guests and colleagues.

 

Educational Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field

· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in event coordination, planning & execution

· Experience in children’s events is an advantage
