Factory Engineer

Description:

Adecco is seeking a Factory Engineer for a new reusable packaging operations facility in Abu Dhabi.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art industrial cleaning and disinfection systems while contributing to a mission of delivering scalable, hygienic, and sustainable packaging solutions to HoReCa, logistics, and retail partners.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop storage and route schedules aligned with client needs
• Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO22000, and HSE standards
• Supervise operations of conveyor systems, robotic arms, and energy-efficient machinery
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and ESG teams for continuous improvement
• Support technical project execution, including new equipment installations

🎓 Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
• Experience in factory/industrial settings (food, cleaning, or logistics preferred)
• Knowledge of circular economy principles and sustainable practices
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Proficiency in English (Arabic is an asset)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural team
