Features Writer

Description:

We're looking for a full-time features writer to join our Dubai-based content team.

The journalist would be expected to cover stories and file in-depth reports on women, health, beauty, art and people that is digital focused. It is a daily role and will require digital content management skills/knowledge, knowledge of social media content promotion and multi-media storytelling.

You should ideally have a network of connections and be a reasonably experienced writer and interviewer. Most importantly, you would need to be a team player who enjoys the exchange of ideas and being part of a newsroom but also is a self-starter, completer/finisher.

The ideal candidate will have:

*At least 3 years journalism experience, in writing about women, health, beauty, art and people

*Excellent writing skills with the ability to beat deadlines

*A person fueled by ideas for stories to write

*Strong relationship-building skills, relating to both internal and external stakeholders

*Experience in using social media and SEO to grow audience.

*Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments
