Description:
We are seeking an experienced D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Finance Consultant to support and lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise finance solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to deliver scalable and compliant finance transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support end-to-end implementation of D365 F&O Finance modules
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs (FDDs)
- Configure and optimize core Finance modules including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets / Asset Management
- Budgeting and Cost Accounting
- Cash & Bank Management
- Drive UAT planning and execution, data validation, and user enablement
- Collaborate with technical teams on:
- Integrations
- Extensions
- Data migration
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Support cutover, go-live, and post-production stabilization
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to junior consultants
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX)
- Strong hands-on expertise in D365 Finance modules
- Experience working on enterprise or multi-legal-entity implementations
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and finance leadership
- Experience preparing functional documentation and solution design artifacts
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
