Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations across our diverse portfolio of businesses. This is a critical role that requires a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in financial planning, managing financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a proven track record of managing finances in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement financial strategies in line with the company’s objectives.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Manage the budgeting process and forecast financial outcomes.

Oversee the accounting operations, including the review of journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and statutory reporting.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; and minimizing the impact of variances.

Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors.

Implement and improve financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.

Lead the finance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An Accounting Diploma is essential.

Minimum of 2 years of finance management experience within the Emirates.

Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.

Proficient user of finance software.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
