Position: Finance Manager
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management
- Oversee financial operations across multiple business activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including tax and reporting requirements
- Manage accounts receivable and payable functions, ensuring timely billing, collections, and payments
- Implement credit policies to optimize cash flow and minimize risk
- Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts and financial records
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads
- Prepare and update financial forecasts
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances
Financial Analysis & Strategy
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management
- Evaluate financial performance against key performance indicators
- Support strategic planning and assess investment opportunities
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Develop and implement internal control systems to safeguard company assets
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Coordinate internal and external audits and implement recommendations
Cost Management
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency initiatives
- Monitor and control operating expenses
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
Systems & Process Improvement
- Implement and optimize financial systems and reporting tools
- Identify process improvements within the finance function
- Support ERP systems implementation and upgrades
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management, including a Finance Manager role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Experience with Big 4 audit firms is highly preferred
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), and advanced MS Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA is highly preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strategic mindset with strong business acumen
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- High level of integrity and strong ethical standards
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
