Finance Manager

Description:

A well-established and reputed trading company based in Dubai (DMCC) is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team. This role is best suited for a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in financial management within the UAE, particularly in trading or commodity-based businesses.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting business decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis. Candidates who are available to join immediately or within a short notice period will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee complete finance and accounting functions across the organization
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, management reports (MIS), budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure accurate VAT filings and full compliance with UAE financial regulations
• Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital effectively
• Coordinate with auditors, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders
• Support strategic planning through financial insights and performance analysis

Requirements:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
• Must have prior UAE work experience (essential requirement)
• Proven experience working in trading companies or within DMCC setups
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and compliance frameworks
• Hands-on experience with UAE VAT regulations and filing procedures
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Experience in oil or commodity trading will be considered an advantage
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are highly preferred
