Description:
As our Financial Director / Partner, you will be a core member of the leadership team. You’ll play a dual role — guiding the company’s financial strategy while also helping us raise seed and growth capital.
You may also invest a small amount personally (optional), but your primary contribution will be your expertise in financial structuring, fundraising strategy, and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the financial strategy, business plan, and fundraising roadmap.
- Lead and manage the capital raise — from AED 500,000 seed to AED 3,000,000 growth funding.
- Prepare investment decks, valuation models, and financial projections for investor presentations.
- Identify and engage with angel investors, venture capitalists, and institutional funds.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Support grant applications and potential public/private funding opportunities.
- Advise on equity structuring, cap table, and founder-investor terms.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial and investment regulations.
- Contribute strategically to market expansion, revenue modeling, and scaling operations.
Ideal Profile
- Proven experience in financial management, venture capital, investment banking, or corporate finance.
- Background in health tech, biotechnology, nutraceuticals, or digital health (preferred).
- Strong understanding of startup fundraising, valuation, and financial modeling.
- Network of angel investors, family offices, or VC contacts in the UAE or globally.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
- Strategic, analytical, and results-driven personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ideally based in the UAE, GCC, or MENA region but not necessary.
