Finastra Equation Core Banking

Description:

We’re looking for a Finastra Equation Developer to join a leading financial institution in Sharjah. In this role, you’ll play a key part in enhancing and modernizing core banking systems, driving digital transformation, and delivering seamless banking experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Design, develop, and customize solutions within the Finastra Equation core banking system
• Build and manage integrations with external systems, payment gateways, and digital platforms (APIs & web services)
• Develop and optimize RPG, RPGLE, and CLLE code on IBM i (AS400)
• Provide L2/L3 support and resolve complex technical issues
• Write and manage advanced SQL queries and DB2 databases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions

What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years of experience in Finastra Equation development
• Strong expertise in IBM iSeries (AS400), RPG, RPGLE, CLLE, DB2, and SQL
• Solid understanding of core banking modules (Retail, Corporate, Lending, Trade Finance, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with APIs, REST/SOAP services, and system integrations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
