We are looking for a creative and passionate florist who can enhance the beauty of the resort through unique floral arrangements and displays, catering to both guests and special events within the premises.
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and maintain beautiful floral arrangements for guest areas, dining venues, and special events within the resort.
- Collaborate with event planners and management to develop themed floral concepts for weddings, corporate events, and other gatherings.
- Source and order high-quality flowers and materials, ensuring freshness and aesthetic appeal.
- Implement innovative floral displays that align with the resort's luxury branding and seasonal themes.
- Manage and maintain an organized workspace while supervising the care of all plants and floral products.
- Keep abreast of floral trends and techniques to continually enhance skills and offerings.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a florist, ideally in a luxury hospitality or resort setting
- Diploma/Certificate in Floral Design, Horticulture, Landscape Design, or a related field, with additional training or short courses in Floral Arrangement and Event Styling.
- Comprehensive knowledge of floral design, various types of flora, and arrangement techniques
- Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute unique floral displays
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
