WyAsk is a B2B SaaS product built around one idea: knowledge should be distributable, contextualised, and measurable at the level of a human conversation. We are in live pilots in the UAE, bootstrapped, moving fast, and starting to get traction in a market that takes AI very seriously.

The engineering execution is strong. What we need is a different kind of mind, someone who lives on the research frontier and can apply it to what we are building. Not to rebuild it, but to make sure we are making the right architectural bets, using the right models for the right reasons, and not missing something important that the field has already figured out.

What this actually means day to day:

— Joining a small AI research committee (Founder + engineering lead) to shape the AI roadmap

— Reviewing our architecture and model selection decisions with honest, informed eyes

— Benchmarking our retrieval architecture and knowledge grounding approach against what is actually state of the art

— Flagging what is coming before it becomes obvious

— Contributing specific components or architectural approaches where your work genuinely accelerates ours

Who we are looking for:

You have a research or senior applied AI background -- ex-lab, ex-frontier team, or deeply self-directed. You think at the level of architecture and model behaviour, not just implementation. You stay genuinely current. You have strong opinions on knowledge retrieval and grounding, agent design, cost at scale, and what the next twelve months in AI actually look like. Arabic language AI or GCC market context is a real bonus but not a requirement.

You are comfortable with early-stage. You want a stake in something you believe in and the autonomy to bring your own perspective, not just validate someone else's.
