Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Fronius Welding Machine Demonstrator with strong foundations in application engineering and metallurgy. The ideal candidate will play a key role in demonstrating advanced welding machines and technologies to customers, partners, and internal teams, while also offering technical insights into material behavior, weld quality, and application suitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct live and virtual demonstrations of welding machines (MIG, TIG, Stick, Cobot, etc.)
- Assist customers in selecting suitable welding solutions tailored to their specific application needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Analyze metallurgical aspects of welds, materials compatibility, and process efficiency.
- Deliver hands-on training sessions, workshops, and technical seminars
- Provide on-site customer support for welding trials, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Document application case studies and feedback for R&D and marketing teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / Technical Education in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in welding technology, application engineering, or similar roles
- Proficient in welding processes: SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW
- Knowledge of welding metallurgy, weld defects, and material behavior under thermal conditions
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret welding codes/standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer interaction skills
- Willingness to travel for demonstrations and customer support
