The Front-End Developer will be responsible for the design, implementation and management of new projects to increase website traffic and user experience.
What you’ll need to succeed
Due to the immediate requirement and essential knowledge needed to proactively drive efficiencies within the department, you must already be an experienced Front-End Developer and have strong Proficiency in React js, MySQN and API’s. Alongside this, the ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work well within a high-performing team environment.
Your responsibilities
- Write website code with programming languages HTML, Java, jQuery, php, React JSand CSS (Bootstrap)
- Create tools that enhance the user’s website experience
- Ensure websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones
- Routinely test websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
- Use Bitbucket for code merging
- Fix any website issues or bugs that arise
- Incorporate applications, graphics, audio and video clips into website
- Build reusable code for future use
- Ensure web design is optimized for smartphones (PWA)
Requirements:
- UX / UI expert / Understanding of key design principles
- Proficient in Photoshop and converting design into HTML
- Understanding of CDN / Cloudflare
- Proficient understanding of web markup, and frontend languages, specifically React JS, HTML5, CSS3, Php
- Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Proficient understanding of speed/load optimization of web pages
- Ability to Handle Pressure at work while respecting strict deadlines
- Open to working on weekend and can make him/herself available when needed
- Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator
- Understanding of SEO principles
- Experience with Trello
