Furniture Design Intern

Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals with a strong interest in furniture to join our team for an internship program . As an intern you will assist our design team I creating furniture designs that align with our objectives and brand identity.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute creatively during brainstorming sessions and design meetings.

• Utilize CAD software and 3D modeling tools for detailed technical drawings and virtual representations.

• Assist in choosing suitable materials, finishes, and fabrics, considering aesthetics, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Participate in furniture prototyping and testing to ensure quality and functionality.

• Work with marketing, production, and sales teams to align designs with the company's brand image.

• Use the internship to learn from experienced designers, seek feedback, and improve skills.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing/recently completed a degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, or a related field.

• Showcase previous furniture design projects, concept sketches, technical drawings, and 3D models.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, SketchUp for technical drawings. Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills are beneficial.

• Understand different furniture production materials, properties, strengths, limitations.

• Essential for precision and accuracy in furniture design.
