Furniture Designer

Description:

Our company is looking for a Furniture Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities
• Visiting job sites to analyze space availability, design needs, and the purpose of the space
• Attending client meetings to understand the design needs and client preferences regarding interior styles and colors
• Creating initial design sketches, color themes, and ideas based on client requirements and space availability “Concept Design”
• Getting approval from the client and create BOQ for all the furniture items and forward to Sales department.
• Selecting material and finishes with client based on the budget.
• Prepare Mood-board and allocate the detail drawings to the draftsman team with Actual site measurements.
• Getting approval on the Mood board and detail drawings, then send drawing to factory.

• Visiting factory weekly for project inspection and submit updating report internally and externally to the clients.

• Arranging client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progress

• Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline
Qualifications

software skills computer skills:
• AutoCAD
• 3D Max/ Sketch up Modeling and V-ray Rendering
• Photoshop
• PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s degree in furniture design, industrial design, interior design, architecture, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• preferred nationality: East European
• Driving license Is preferred
