In our branch in Dubai, UAE, you will find a worldwide network and state-of-the-art facilities. We are currently hiring a GC Analyst (Reference Number: 20250214) for the Middle East region.

 

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Reconstitution of fragrances utilizing qualitative and quantitative analysis of perfumed products (GCMS, GCFID)
  • Extraction of fine fragrance and personal care products
  • Formulation and development of extraction methods
  • Supporting and collaborating Perfumery & Evaluation departments
  • Independent execution of minor maintenance work on GC devices

 

Requirements for the position:

  • Master's degree in chemistry or comparable degree. Having a master’s degree in perfumery would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Perfumery Raw Materials and Natural Essential oils
  • Professional experience in the field of GC analysis and in the use of corresponding software
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience as a GC Analyst preferably in the fine fragrance
  • Having experience in the Middle East market would be a plus. We are open to candidates who have experience outside the GCC region
  • Laboratory experience and knowledge of extraction methods. Basic understanding of operating the GSM Testing machine
  • Being flexible, organized and having a problem-solving mindset
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Fluent in English
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
