General Accountant

Description:

International Fire Protection System LLC (IFPS) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join its expanding team in the UAE. This opportunity is well suited for accounting professionals who are organized, analytical, and capable of managing day-to-day financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT regulations. The role also involves supporting budgeting, audits, financial analysis, and collaborating with various departments to maintain smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper accounting entries.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and perform account reconciliations.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

• Process payroll and monitor employee-related payments.

• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate cash flow records.

• Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and audit activities.

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial transactions and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of accounting experience, with UAE experience preferred.

• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks.

• Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of:

• QuickBooks accounting software.

• UAE VAT compliance and financial reporting.

• Microsoft Excel and accounting best practices.
