General Accountant

Description:

Rushmore is urgently seeking a General Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who can oversee daily financial operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support accurate financial reporting. Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounting records, preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, and supporting budgeting and audit activities. Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and accounting software is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants.

• Ensure proper documentation and internal controls for all financial transactions.

• Prepare financial reports and provide analysis to support management decisions.

• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Previous experience in an accounting firm or multi-entity environment is an advantage.

• Must be available to join immediately.
