General Accountant

Description:

Al Taresh Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized General Accountant to join its team in the UAE. This opportunity is suitable for accounting professionals with experience in financial operations, reporting, and maintaining accurate accounting records.

The selected candidate will support daily accounting activities, assist with financial reporting, manage reconciliations, and ensure compliance with UAE VAT requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting financial documentation.

• Assist with VAT preparation and filing according to UAE regulations.

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.

• Review invoices, payments, receipts, and expense records.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy of accounting entries.

• Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.

• Assist with additional accounting and finance-related tasks when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage accounting tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Strong knowledge of:

• UAE accounting practices and VAT procedures

• Financial reporting and reconciliations

• Accounting software and Microsoft Excel
