General Accountant

Description:

We are hiring a Senior General Accountant for one of our clients a distribution company of Medical Equipment’s and Devices in Dubai.

Requirement:

Must have 3-4 years of UAE experience

Candidate must have CPA degree

Preferably with audit and ERP data migration experience.

VAT knowledge is must to have

Preferred language: Tagalog

• In-depth understanding of entire accounting process with tax experience, knowledgeable in banking procedures, bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliation and account reconciliations between the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers and between the general ledger up to finalization of financial statements and analysis.

• Knowledgeable of VAT guidelines in UAE and having extensive corporate and personal tax experience.

• Exceptional computer skills, including MS Office suite especially Microsoft Excel.

Duties& Responsibilities:

• Post and reconcile financial transactions according to company policies and regulations as well as accounting standards.

• Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and adjusting entries.

• Complete assigned accounting or administrative tasks within deadlines.

• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.

• Prepare and finalize VAT Return and Refund within reportable period

• Recommend positive changes to existing accounting & finance procedures.

• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.

• Aid in migration of data into the new system and help in reconciliation of accounts.
