General Counsel

A high-growth, internationally backed healthcare platform is seeking an entrepreneurial and strategic General Counsel to help lead its next stage of expansion.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with a private equity sponsor, this role offers the opportunity to shape a group-level legal function, support a highly acquisitive strategy, and embed governance excellence across diverse regulatory environments.

Key Candidate Profile

You are a commercially fluent senior lawyer with:

• 10–20 years’ experience, ideally combining top-tier law firm training with in-house roles in healthcare or emerging markets.
• Recent track record in cross-border M&A, joint ventures, and post-deal integration
• Comfort operating in lean, fast-moving settings, building structure while staying close to deals and senior stakeholders.
• Cultural awareness and legal fluency in highly regulated, multi-jurisdictional environments.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead all legal matters related to corporate transactions, partnerships, and strategic investments.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and licensing
• Build and lead a legal function that supports clinical operations, procurement, and risk.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, PE sponsor, and board on legal strategy, governance, and external risk.
• Represent the platform with external stakeholders, including regulators and joint venture partners.
