General Surgeon

A healthcare organization in the UAE is currently looking for a qualified and experienced General Surgeon to join its medical team. This full-time position is suited for professionals who are committed to delivering high standards of surgical care while ensuring patient safety and clinical excellence. The role involves performing a variety of surgical procedures and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surgical Procedures:
• Perform a wide range of general surgical operations with accuracy and attention to patient safety
• Ensure best practices and surgical standards are followed at all times

• Patient Diagnosis & Treatment:
• Assess and diagnose patients to determine appropriate surgical or non-surgical treatment plans
• Provide clear explanations to patients regarding procedures and recovery expectations

• Pre & Post-Operative Care:
• Manage patient care before and after surgery, ensuring proper monitoring and recovery
• Address complications promptly and provide follow-up care

• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and support staff
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions for optimal patient outcomes

• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and reports
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and UAE healthcare regulations

Requirements:

• Education:
• MBBS along with MS/DNB in General Surgery or an equivalent qualification

• Licensing:
• Valid DOH / DHA / MOH license or eligibility to practice in the UAE is preferred

• Experience:
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience after specialization

• Skills:
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle patients with care and professionalism
