Group Senior Finance Manager

Athgadlang, a reputed financial services organization listed publicly, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Senior Finance Manager on a 6-month renewable contract basis to join their dynamic team in Dubai. This critical role is responsible for managing and leading the financial operations related to acquisitions, consolidations, and group financial reporting in a fast-growing environment.

The Group Senior Finance Manager will ensure smooth financial integration of acquired entities, maintain accurate and timely reporting compliant with IFRS standards, and oversee compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and VAT regulations. This role requires close collaboration with management reporting teams and external auditors to uphold the highest financial standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the financial integration of acquisitions into the group’s accounting and reporting framework.

• Oversee the development and enforcement of accounting policies, General Ledger (GL) structures, and financial reporting processes for acquired entities.

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

• Ensure full compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws and VAT regulations.

• Support banking, funding, and financial due diligence activities related to acquisitions.

• Collaborate with management reporting teams to develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) frameworks.

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree holder, attested by UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

• Over 12 years of post-qualification experience in financial management, with substantial exposure to acquisitions and group reporting.

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of recent relevant experience.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE taxation laws, consolidation techniques, and financial compliance.

• Proven experience working with external auditors, including the Big 4 audit firms.

• Exceptional project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
