We are seeking a talented and experienced Hairdresser to join our luxury salon brand, YAZ Ladies Salon, located in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical skills, a passion for hair care, and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service. As part of our dynamic team, you will help clients achieve their desired look while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Hair Services:
- Perform various hair services, including cutting, styling, coloring, blow-drying, and treatments.
- Offer specialized techniques, including highlighting, balayage, creative toning, keratin treatments, and other trending styles.
- Provide consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable services and products.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure clients are comfortable and well-informed throughout their salon visit.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat visits.
- Handle client concerns or complaints professionally and courteously.
Salon Operations:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools.
- Adhere to salon health and safety protocols in accordance with Abu Dhabi Municipality Standards.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other stylists and staff to create a supportive team environment.
- Join our artistic team with session styling opportunities for photoshoots, shows, and editorials in the region.
- Collaborate with top industry brands for exciting opportunities.
- Potential to assist in training junior stylists or apprentices.
- Work with our Leadership Team on your personal, professional, and financial growth, including individual coaching.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of professional hairdressing experience in a reputable salon.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in hair cutting, styling, coloring, and treatment techniques. Knowledge of advanced styling tools and products.
- Education: Certification or diploma in Hairdressing or Cosmetology.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, creativity, and attention to detail. Ability to work in a multicultural environment. Positive attitude and dedication to professional and personal growth.
- Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages (e.g., Arabic) are an advantage.
