Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Handover & Documentation Engineer with strong expertise in assets handover to government authorities in Abu Dhabi, including TAQA, ADM, ADNOC, ETISALAT, DU, and others. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing authority submissions, using online portals, and coordinating all documentation requirements to ensure successful project close-out.
This role also acts as the GCC focal point, attending all consultant and client meetings related to project handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Your tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of complete handover documentation packages to relevant Abu Dhabi authorities.
- Ensure all required documents, NOCs, and approvals are submitted through the appropriate authority portals and systems (e.g., ADM, TAQA, ADNOC).
- Liaise and follow up with government entities to fulfill technical and procedural handover requirements.
- Coordinate with internal project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to collect and validate as-built drawings, asset data, and related documentation.
- Act as the focal point for all handover-related meetings with clients, consultants, and government stakeholders.
- Monitor handover schedules, track progress, and report status to project leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with authority standards, regulations, and digital submission protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or equivalent)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in handover/documentation, including at least 1 to 2 completed projects with similar authority coordination scope
- Proven experience with assets handover to Abu Dhabi authorities (TAQA, ADM, ADNOC, ETISALAT, DU, etc.)
- Proficiency in online submission systems and portals of Abu Dhabi authorities
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
- Confident in representing the company in high-level meetings with consultants and clients
