Health & Safety Officer

Description:

We are currently hiring a qualified and experienced Health & Safety Officer to join a school campus based in Sharjah. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-managed environment for students, staff, and visitors in line with UAE health and safety standards. The position is ideal for professionals with prior school-based experience who are already residing in the UAE.

The Health & Safety Officer will play a key role in implementing safety policies, monitoring daily compliance, and supporting school operations and events through proactive risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures across the school
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections
• Ensure full compliance with UAE health and safety regulations
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Support school activities and events with safety planning and oversight
• Maintain accurate safety records and reports

Requirements:

• NEBOSH certification is mandatory
• Previous experience working in a school or educational environment
• Candidate must be currently based in the UAE
• Strong understanding of UAE health and safety regulations
• Good communication and coordination skills
