Grammar School in Dubai, UAE is looking for an experienced Head of Department (HOD) & Arabic B Teacher for the Primary section. This position is available for the 2025-2026 academic year. The role requires a passionate and dynamic leader who can not only teach but also manage a team and contribute to the department’s development, ensuring a high standard of education aligned with the British Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Arabic B curriculum for the Primary section, overseeing the teaching and learning standards.

• Develop and implement an engaging and effective teaching strategy that aligns with the British Curriculum.

• Manage and mentor Arabic B teachers within the department to ensure best practices and consistent delivery.

• Ensure that students are effectively engaged and supported in learning the Arabic language.

• Create lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse student learning styles.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting cultural understanding and language proficiency.

• Track student progress, analyze data, and implement necessary interventions to support academic success.

• Participate in department meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Experience Required:

• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in a British Curriculum school, preferably in the UAE.

• Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Arabic or Education.

Eligibility:

• Fluency in English is a must.

• Candidates must be immediate joiners and able to provide recent police clearance if on a visit visa.
