Homeroom Teacher

Description:

DIPS is looking to hire a Homeroom Teacher for Grade 2 (English, Science and Math).

A competent candidate should be able to do the following:

• Teach all areas of the curriculum for all three subjects confidently.
• Communicate in English fluently (speaking & writing).
• Take responsibility for the progress of learners with different abilities and different learning styles.
• Organize the classroom and learning resources to create displays that encourage a positive learning environment.
• Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the needs of all learners.
• Motivate learners with enthusiastic, creative and imaginative presentation of lessons.
• Maintain discipline in the classroom using appropriate classroom management techniques.
• Provide feedback on learner’s progress to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities, resources and lesson planning with colleagues.
• Keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.

We are looking for a candidate with UAE experience to start work immediately, therefore applicants outside the UAE will not be considered.
