A Host/Hostess is responsible for make the guest feel at home by extending a warm welcome, assisting the guests to sit and later give them a warm send off. To assist in all ways to provide the highest degree of guest satisfaction.
Consistently offer a professional and friendly greeting, and provide engaging service
Check the reservation system and in-house guest information for the next Visit.
Notify the restaurant manager of any large group bookings or any reservations with special request, VIP etc..
Allocate all reservations with the floor plan, informing the team of all information necessary. Example, Birthdays, anniversaries, bill not to be taken to the table or any other unusual requests
Answering the phone using a friendly tone and being informative.
Have a very good understanding of the outlet’s concept and food and beverage offerings including promotions and be able to verbally explain those to the guests.
Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
Hospitality educational background.
Excellent organizational communication skills in English (Oral and written)
Previous customer service experience required
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
High level of energy and professional at all times
Basic computer skills including MS Office.
Russian and Chinese languages would be advantageous in this position for you.
