Description:
Cinemacity is seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to manage a wide range of HR activities across our Dubai operations. This role suits an HR professional who enjoys a varied, people-centred position and can support recruitment, employee lifecycle management, compliance, and training in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Shift: Morning (Full-Time).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment: create and publish job postings, screen CVs, coordinate interviews and shortlist candidates.
- Oversee onboarding & orientation: run induction programs, ensure new hires are set up for success and handle probation monitoring.
- Employee relations & grievance handling: respond to employee queries, investigate concerns and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain HR records & contracts: keep accurate personnel files, prepare employment contracts and ensure adherence to UAE labour law.
- Support payroll & leave administration: provide timely and accurate payroll inputs, track leave records and assist with payroll-related queries.
- Performance management & L&D support: assist with appraisals, help coordinate training initiatives and support staff development activities.
Candidate Profile / Requirements:
- Experience: at least 3 years in HR generalist or similar HR roles.
- Skills: good knowledge of UAE labour regulations, strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple HR tasks.
- Attributes: organised, proactive, team-oriented and comfortable working in an evolving entertainment business.
