Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HR Lawyer (Arabic Speaker) to provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of employment-related matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UAE Labor Law and regional employment regulations, fluency in Arabic and English, and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on employment laws, HR policies, employee relations, and labor disputes.
- Draft, review, and advise on employment contracts, disciplinary actions, termination notices, and internal HR policies.
- Represent the company in labor cases and liaise with government authorities (e.g., MOHRE, Free Zone authorities).
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable labor laws and regulatory requirements across GCC/UAE jurisdictions.
- Support HR and management in handling grievances, internal investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Prepare legal documentation and reports related to employment matters.
- Provide regular updates and training to HR and leadership teams on changes in labor legislation.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); Master's degree or legal certification is a plus.
- Licensed to practice law in [relevant jurisdiction, e.g., UAE or home country].
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in labor/employment law, preferably within the GCC.
- Strong understanding of UAE Labor Law and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Experience working in multinational or regional companies.
- Familiarity with Free Zone labor practices and government portals (MOHRE, DMCC, JAFZA, etc.).
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
