HR Manager

Description:

No Competition Gaming Studio, an independent mobile game development company based in Dubai, is looking for an experienced HR Manager to establish and lead its human resources function. As the studio transitions from prototype development into full production, this role will play a key part in building strong HR operations and supporting the company’s growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating HR policies, managing employee lifecycle processes, overseeing payroll coordination, ensuring compliance with UAE labour regulations, and supporting recruitment initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building systems from the ground up within a fast-paced and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and document HR policies, internal procedures, and the employee handbook.

• Manage the complete visa and immigration process for employees and their dependants.

• Handle end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including contracts, clearances, and final settlements.

• Coordinate with the finance/accounting team on monthly payroll, WPS, and end-of-service benefit calculations.

• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, MOHRE regulations, and other employment requirements.

• Support recruitment and hiring activities as the company continues to expand.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Human Resources within the UAE.

Knowledge Management

• Strong working knowledge of UAE labour law, employment regulations, and visa processing.

• Experience designing and implementing HR policies and operational processes.

• Previous experience in a startup or rapidly growing business is an advantage.

• Highly organized, professional, and able to work closely with a dynamic leadership team.

• Experience in the gaming, technology, or creative industries is considered a plus.

• Strong knowledge of:

• UAE Labour Law and MOHRE regulations

• Visa and immigration procedures

• Payroll, WPS, and end-of-service benefit calculations

• HR policy development and employee lifecycle management
