Description:
We are currently seeking an HR Senior Executive to join our Human Resources & Administration team at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre in Sharjah. This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing a wide range of HR operations including rewards and benefits administration, employee relations, grievance and disciplinary handling, and performance management. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in HR best practices, labor laws, and committed to maintaining a productive and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer employee disciplinary processes and address grievances in line with JRCC policies and Sharjah HRD Law.
- Handle employee resignation, termination, and end-of-service formalities, including conducting exit interviews and analyzing turnover trends.
- Advise and support managers and staff on the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure organizational compliance with local and federal labor regulations, including Emiratization requirements.
- Conduct job analysis and prepare job descriptions and evaluations using structured methodologies.
- Manage the Performance Management System and support departments in objective setting, appraisals, and reporting.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and professional development plans.
- Administer employee rewards, bonuses, health insurance updates, and internal promotions/transfers.
- Develop and deliver HR reports and MIS to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with recruitment agencies, training providers, and internal stakeholders to support talent management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience within the UAE, with a focus on compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Membership in an HR professional body such as CIPD, SHRM, or AHRI is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced in report writing and project management.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
