Hse Engineer

KILONEWTONS is looking for a proactive HSE Engineer to ensure workplace safety, environmental compliance, and risk mitigation across our Dubai projects. You will be the guardian of our zero-harm culture in a high-performance construction environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

✔ Safety Compliance & Risk Management:
 

• Implement OSHAD, Dubai Municipality & ISO 45001 standards
• Conduct risk assessments (HIRA, JSA, PTW systems)
• Develop emergency response plans & drills
   

✔ Site Inspections & Audits
 

• Perform daily safety inspections & behavioral observations
• Lead internal & external HSE audits
• Ensure PPE compliance & safe work methods
   

✔ Training & Awareness
 

• Deliver HSE induction & toolbox talks
• Train teams on working at heights, confined spaces, hot work
• Promote safety culture through campaigns
   

✔ Environmental Protection
 

• Monitor waste management & pollution control
• Ensure compliance with UAE environmental laws
• Implement sustainability initiatives
   

✔ Incident Management
 

• Investigate accidents/near-misses (root cause analysis)
• Maintain HSE statistics & KPIs
• Report to DCD & regulatory authorities
   

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

✔ Technical Expertise:
 

• 5+ years in construction HSE (UAE experience mandatory)
• Certified NEBOSH IGC/IOSH (minimum)
• Knowledge of DOSH regulations & international standards
   

✔ Software & Tools
 

• HSE Systems: Intelex, Enablon, or similar
• Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel/PowerPoint
• Reporting Tools: Power BI (advantageous)
   

✔ Certifications
 

• First Aid/CPR certified
• OSHA 30-Hour (preferred)
• Chartered Member IOSH (CMIOSH) – bonus
