Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support project operations by implementing Parsons’ SH&E programs, conducting site inspections, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and client HSE requirements What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting the project or program manager in implementing and administering the site-specific SH&E programs.
- Conducting audits of project sites to ensure compliance with Parsons’ corporate standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Inspecting worksites to identify hazards and providing technical expertise to control and eliminate associated SH&E risks.
- Preparing and submitting detailed written reports for audits, inspections, and site observations.
- Monitoring work planning and operational performance to verify alignment with Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP).
- Implementing Parsons’ occupational injury, incident reporting, and case management procedures.
- Creating, maintaining, and updating SH&E training records in accordance with project and corporate requirements.
- Participating in daily and routine safe work briefings with project teams.
- Performing additional SH&E-related duties as assigned by the SH&E Manager or project leadership.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in safety, health, and environmental/loss prevention or any relevant Engineering disciplines from an accredited university.
- With recognized Health and Safety education, certifications (ADVETI), ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor qualification, ISO 14001:2015, license or training in UAE (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma, ADOSH SF-OSHMS Practitioner A or B, Audit ISO Qualifications, First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.).
- More than 12 years of relevant Health & Safety experience within construction or infrastructure projects. Preferably with at least 2 years of Consultant/PMC experience.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state SH&E regulations, reporting procedures, and local legislation
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal capability.
- Able to attend in-person interviews in UAE.
