Hiring HSE Officer (Oil & Gas)

Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced HSE Officer to join our team for operations in Habshan, Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental practices within the oil and gas sector, with A DNOC approval and relevant certifications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with AD NOC, HSE, and international safety standards on-site
- Conduct HSE audits, including camp audits, welfare inspections, and civil defense checks
- Oversee implementation of HSE plans, road safety initiatives, and incident investigations
- Ensure compliance with HSEMS, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct and supervise toolbox talks, risk assessments (TRA/FRA), and work method statements (WMS)
- Coordinate with stakeholders for HSE assurance and A DNOC medical/vehicle requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science or a 3-year diploma
- 8–10 years of experience in the oil and gas field, preferably with shutdown and project experience
- GCC experience required
- NEBOSH IGC, ANOC experience, and ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certifications are essential
- Basic H2S, Basic First Aid, and Basic Firefighting certifications required
- UAE driving license is preferable
- Strong knowledge in camp audits, STP, civil defense, HSE plans, welfare, road safety, and incident investigation
