Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for performing a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training and development, and HR policy implementation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our organization's HR initiatives and contributing to the overall success of our workforce.
1. Recruitment:
· Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
· Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
· Conduct interviews and facilitate the selection process to ensure the hiring of qualified candidates.
· Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.
2. Employee Relations:
· Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR-related issues.
· Address employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and empathetic manner.
· Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
· Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement through various initiatives and activities.
3. Benefits Administration:
· Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
· Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
· Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee benefits.
· Stay informed about changes in benefits laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
4. Training and Development:
· Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
· Coordinate training sessions and workshops on topics such as diversity and inclusion, performance management, and leadership development.
· Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
· Support employee career development initiatives and mentorship programs.
5. HR Policy Implementation:
· Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
· Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices align with company policies and legal requirements.
· Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
· 2:3 years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on HR generalist functions.
· Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
· Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office applications.
