Human Resources Specialist

 

Description:

We are looking for a Senior HR Officer who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work.

Responsibilities

1. Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems

2. Provide counseling on policies and procedures

3. Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process

4. Create and implement effective onboarding plans

5. Develop training and development programs

6. Assist in performance management processes

7. Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues

8. Maintain employee records (attendance, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements

9. Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

10. Ensure accurate management of all HR data into the company ERP system.

 

Skills and Requirements

  • Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position (UAE Experience Essential)
  • Management of HR functions (recruitment, training & development, compensation, etc.)
  • Documenting and providing counseling on policies and procedures
  • Lead recruitment by drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies and managing the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective onboarding and exit plans for those joining and leaving the company.
  • Develop training, development, incentive programs and performance analysis and management.
  • Maintain employee records (resume, job offer letter, official contract and internal contract, letters of recommendations or reference, attendance, salary receipt slips, performance evaluations, growth plans, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
  • Proficient in MS Office, HR software.
  • Ensure accurate management of all HR data into the company ERP system.
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures (specifically Dubai and RAK)
  • Maintain neat and organized file system (physical and digital) of all legal documentation for the companies.
  • Ensure important documents are renewed in time – trade licenses, insurance policies, etc.
  • Ensure account details for company subscribed services are well documented and easy to access.
  • Be helpful with all PRO led activities – from preparing documentation to corresponding, calling and following up with ministries, and relevant parties.
  • Follow directives set by management with diligence.
  • Be a strategic thinker, analytical in approach, and a results-oriented team player, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Display outstanding organizational and time-management abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making aptitude, strong ethics and reliability.
