Indian Accountant

Description:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial activities related to gold bullion trading and inventory. This includes accurate accounting of gold purchases, sales, and stock movement. preparation of financial statements and maintaining transparent, compliant records in line with precious metal industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts for bullion transactions.
• Record daily purchase, sales, and inventory entries in accounting software.
• Prepare and reconcile stock and ledger reports on a daily basis.
• Prepare financial statements, bank reconciliations, and balance sheets.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and coordinate with suppliers, clients, and banks.
• Assist in internal and statutory audits and ensure full compliance with financial regulations.
• Monitor gold price fluctuations and support management in pricing and margin analysis.
