Description:
We are seeking 2 skilled and detail-oriented IT Engineers (1 for each location) to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a solid understanding of networks, systems administration, and technical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus, and data encryption tools.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patch management, and backups.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with best practices.
- Support cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Respond to IT support requests and resolve technical issues for end users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT-related projects and system upgrades.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac environments.
- Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud computing platforms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
