They are seeking a highly skilled Internal Audit Manager to oversee internal audits, ensure compliance, and improve operational efficiency across their trading and shipping divisions.

As the Internal Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making by evaluating internal controls, identifying risks, and recommending improvements within the company’s global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute internal audit plans focused on oil trading and shipping functions.

• Evaluate internal control systems, identify operational risks, and suggest process enhancements.

• Audit financial transactions, contracts, freight charges, and procurement activities.

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation adhering to industry standards.

• Manage audits related to international cash flows, trade receivables, and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate closely with finance, operations, and legal teams across multiple regions.

• Prepare and present audit findings with actionable recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).

• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CMA are preferred.

Industry Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of oil trading, commodity pricing, and contract structures.

• Familiarity with shipping operations including Incoterms and logistics cost management.

• Understanding of complex revenue recognition policies specific to the energy sector.

Skills & Tools:

• Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.

• Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, and trading software such as Oddo or Aspect.

• Advanced Excel skills with financial modeling capability.

• Strong understanding of IFRS and international audit standards.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years in oil trading or energy sector.

• 3 to 5 years in shipping, logistics, or related industries.

• Exposure to international markets and multi-currency operations.

Language Requirements:

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Arabic or other language skills are an advantage.
