The Middle East & North Africa (MENA) Investment Banking division is a generalist team covering various sectors such as Energy and Power, Consumer and Retail, Financial Institutions, Healthcare, Infrastructure, and Technology, Media and Telecoms amongst others. Bank of America’s MENA Investment Banking business is focused on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, with offices in UAE Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) and Qatar Financial Centre (QFC). Coverage teams work together across offices to provide solutions to our clients on a range of strategic topics covering corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets advice.

Programme Overview

Our Off-cycle Analyst programme is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience of work within Investment Banking. During your internship, you’ll be gaining exposure to a variety of industry, and product coverage teams.

Training and Development

Your training and development are our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.

Responsibilities:

As an Off-cycle Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
 

  • Work on projects alongside bankers in specific industry, product and country coverage groups providing you with a unique learning opportunity
  • Help the team deliver solutions to clients leveraging the full spectrum of the bank's capabilities
  • Actively contribute to the preparation of client presentations and underlying financial analysis
  • Build relationships, knowledge and experience that will open doors to a wide range of future career opportunities
  • Actively participate in executing transactions, including work with clients as well as representatives of other investment banks and other advisors

     

Eligibility
 

  • Candidates are required to be pursuing either an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited college or university, with a graduation timeframe between January 2026 to July 2028
  • On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent)
  • Must be available to join the programme anytime from January to July 2026 for a period of six months.

     

Candidates who perform well during the internship may be offered full time employment to commence in July 2028; some lines of business may also offer the opportunity of a January or April start date. You must be available to join on one of these start dates if offered, unfortunately we are unable to offer deferrals.

  • Display sufficient understanding of the investment banking landscape in the GCC region and its key features
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethics by earning other’s trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions
  • Resolve, persistence and determination are highly valued skills in an investment banking team
