It / Network Coordinator

Description:

A company based in Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a qualified and proactive IT / Network Coordinator to oversee and support its internal IT systems and networking infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on technical expertise who can ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations while maintaining secure and reliable network performance across the organization.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing network environments, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing consistent IT support to internal teams. The position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to coordinate with both internal stakeholders and external IT service providers when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, maintain, and support LAN and WAN network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
• Configure and manage networking equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to internal departments and staff.
• Implement and maintain system security protocols, backups, and data protection procedures.
• Coordinate with third-party IT vendors and service providers for system maintenance and upgrades.
• Ensure network stability, system reliability, and minimal operational downtime.
• Assist in maintaining documentation related to IT systems, configurations, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Practical knowledge of network administration and IT infrastructure management.
• Experience handling enterprise networking equipment and system configurations.
• Understanding of cybersecurity practices and backup management processes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple technical tasks efficiently.
• Experience in structured engineering or project-based environments within Abu Dhabi will be considered an advantage.
