IT Support Field Engineer

Whitehats is looking for an experienced IT Support Field Engineer to join its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for IT professionals who have strong technical expertise in end-user support, infrastructure management, and enterprise IT environments.

The successful candidate will provide both on-site and remote technical support, manage IT infrastructure, troubleshoot networking issues, and ensure reliable system performance while delivering excellent customer service. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently based in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for Windows and macOS users.

• Administer Windows Server environments and support IT infrastructure.

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.

• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and VLAN networks.

• Support VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.

• Perform backup management and disaster recovery tasks.

• Maintain firewall security, endpoint protection, and cybersecurity best practices.

• Handle IT ticketing, SLA management, and customer support requests.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in IT support or field engineering.

• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.

• Experience managing Windows Server and IT infrastructure.

• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.

Strong knowledge of:

• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

• Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, VMware, and Hyper-V.

• Networking, VPN, Firewall, Endpoint Security, Backup, Disaster Recovery, and IT Ticketing systems.
