Jewelry Designer

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Jewelry Design Trainer to join our creative faculty. The ideal candidate will specialize in jewelry design techniques and hand sketching/drawing, and will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical training sessions to students of various levels.

This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in the jewelry industry and a love for teaching and mentoring aspiring designers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach students the core techniques of jewelry design, from concept development to final sketch presentation.

• Provide in-depth instruction in hand drawing skills, including sketching jewelry forms, rendering metals, gemstones, textures, and finishes.

• Guide students in understanding jewelry construction, materials, measurements, and ergonomics.

• Offer personalized feedback and support during projects and critiques.

• Develop and update class materials, exercises, and projects to meet current industry standards.

• Inspire students by sharing industry trends, real-world case studies, and professional practices.

• Collaborate with the academic team to ensure course alignment and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in jewelry design with a strong portfolio in hand-drawn sketches.

• Prior teaching or training experience is highly preferred.

• Excellent knowledge of jewelry design principles, gem setting, and design methodologies.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for design education and nurturing creative talent.

• Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design or a related field (preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong).
