Joinery Material Engineer

Description:

We are currently hiring a skilled and motivated Joinery Material Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in joinery and interior fit-out projects who have strong technical knowledge of materials and finishes used in high-quality interior works.

The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring material quality, durability, compliance, and cost efficiency while working closely with internal teams to support ongoing and upcoming projects. Candidates must be currently based in the UAE, with immediate availability preferred.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
• 2 to 3 years of proven UAE experience in joinery or interior fit-out projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of wood, veneers, laminates, MDF, plywood, hardware, and finishing materials.
• Ability to assess material quality and suitability for different applications.
• Immediate joiners will be given preference.
• Candidate must be currently residing in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Select appropriate materials and evaluate quality based on project requirements.
• Ensure materials meet durability standards, regulatory compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and design teams for smooth execution.
• Identify innovative, efficient, and sustainable material solutions for joinery works.
• Support project teams by providing technical input related to materials and finishes.
