Junior Accountant

Description:

Civitas Partners is recruiting a diligent and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join a dynamic vessel-owning company based in Dubai, UAE. This company operates across multiple segments including vessel chartering, vessel agency, vessel management, cabotage services, fuel terminal operations, and fuel logistics.

The Junior Accountant will play an essential role in managing payables, reporting vessel-related costs, controlling fuel terminal stock, and maintaining clear communication with various internal and external stakeholders. This position requires a motivated individual with strong accounting knowledge and excellent organizational skills, ready to contribute effectively to the company’s financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Prepare detailed vessel cost reports to support financial oversight and decision-making.

• Control and report on fuel terminal stock to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Liaise with different stakeholders, including vendors, internal teams, and management, to coordinate financial and operational matters.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to handle data analysis and reporting tasks efficiently.

• Strong communication skills to ensure clear and professional interactions.

• Energetic, detail-oriented, and highly organized approach to work.

• Quick learner with a proactive “can-do” attitude.

• Immediate availability is highly preferred to support urgent business needs.
