Junior Accountant

Description:

We are looking to hire a motivated and detail-focused Junior Accountant to become part of our finance team based in Dubai. This role is ideal for someone who already has hands-on exposure to corporate tax filing and VAT processes within the UAE and is eager to strengthen their professional skills in a structured corporate environment. The selected candidate should have a solid foundation in accounting principles, familiarity with local tax regulations, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and submission of Corporate Tax returns in line with UAE regulatory requirements
• Manage VAT-related activities including registration, calculations, filing, and periodic reconciliations
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Assist during internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants when needed
• Ensure ongoing compliance with UAE tax laws, accounting standards, and company policies
• Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Previous hands-on experience in corporate tax filing and VAT collection is mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
• Basic but clear understanding of UAE tax laws and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in MS Excel and commonly used accounting software
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines
