Junior Accountant

Description:

A company based in Dubai is looking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support its finance operations. This role is suitable for candidates who have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and hands-on experience with accounting software, especially Tally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting entries using Tally.
• Manage invoices, track payments, and perform regular reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining proper documentation.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in all financial records.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Practical experience working with Tally is mandatory.
• Prior experience in the UAE, particularly within FMCG or electronics sectors, will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and time management skills.
